About Us

Kait

Kait grew up in Vermontโ€™s Northeast Kingdom exploring the woods with her childhood dogs, Duke and Rascal. Those early adventures inspired a lifelong belief that dogs thrive outdoors, where they are happier, more confident, and fully themselves.

That belief is the foundation of Timber Tails Dog Camp, where dogs explore nature, build confidence, and play in a safe small group pack environment built on trust and structure.

Kaitโ€™s mission is simple: to give dogs the time of their lives and their humans complete peace of mind.

Greg

Greg grew up on a horse farm in Michigan, where caring for animals was simply part of everyday life. His soul dog, Sage, showed him just how special the bond between dogs and humans can be.

At Timber Tails, Greg helps with camp and overnight care and is especially loved by the small dogs, who always seem to gravitate toward him. From maintaining the property to joining trail adventures and capturing candid moments along the way, Greg brings a calm, steady presence that both dogs and humans appreciate.

Cedar

Cedar joined Greg and Kait in 2019 as a tiny, wild little gremlin with endless energy and a huge personality. After raising their laid-back Golden Retriever, Sage, they quickly realized life with a sporting dog would be a whole new adventure.

From the beginning, they focused heavily on training and recall so Cedar could safely enjoy the off-leash lifestyle he thrives in. Today, heโ€™s Timber Tailsโ€™ frisbee-obsessed, trail-blazing pack leader who is always ready for one more hike, swim, or round of fetch. Cedar loves welcoming new dogs into the group and is happiest surrounded by his people and his pack
